Are we extroverts or introverts? 😮👀
❕ We are quite opposite in how we absorb and process energy.
👩 Anastasia is introverted extrovert, as she loves to share her thoughts and energy with people around her, connect with people on an emotional level, but is sometimes prevented by her shyness. She can get anxious in some social situations but usually she gets energized by people and likewise easily affected by their negative emotions as well. Teaching and being in front of people or on stage for her is a challenge but it’s something that’s helped her grow and develop a ton.
🙋🏽♂️ Jovanny is more of an extroverted introvert - he is able to be the center of attention and is one of the loudest and animated people in a climate he feels energized in, however, he needs his time to recharge and be by himself outside of these moments. Jovanny is a perfect teacher, amazing coach because he can fill the room with energy and make everyone feel like his friend. However outside of class, Jovanny really appreciates being left alone. Unless you want to talk to him about anime or science, he usually needs a break. 🤪
It is often confusing for our friends and students to see us outside of the normal dance environment because you never know if you’re going to get the fun, energized and talkative couple or a quiet and less talkative one. And we often switch roles, depending on the setting.
Sometimes there is pressure to always be liked, always put on a happy face and a smile, especially as an instructor. But at the end of the day, we are all people and we are not one dimensional. Next time, come talk to us and get to know us! 💗💗💗
